frogAct1-1

Multifunctional 1-channel actuator with 1 input - 1 x 400 W @ 230V~

Multifunctional 1-channel actuator with one input to activate/deactivate lights or other appliances featuring 1 Input for integration of switches and other devices (110-240 V~). Featuring integrated logic module with comfort and timer functions, power measurement and short circuit detection (1x 400 W @ 230 V~).

The small green control modules, called frogs, are the heart of every frogblue system and form the basis of the Bluetooth®-based smart building solution from frogblue. Frogs can switch, dim, measure, open doors or react to buttons, switches and window contacts.

Connected to the mains or battery-powered, they are linked together with “virtual cables” via the frogblue Bluetooth® mesh network. They forward messages and thus extend the range. Data transfer between the frogs is always encrypted (128 bit), and this in addition to Bluetooth®. frogs are smart, packed with innovative functions, are very easy to configure and do not require a central unit or control cabinet. With a power consumption of just 0.2 watts, they are also extraordinarily energy-conscious.

Installed in a deep flush-mounted back box (recommended socket depth: 63 mm) behind any conventional switch/button, junction box, weatherproof outdoor socket or lamp outlet, this multifunctional 1-channel actuator can be used to control the lights or other appliances.

For example, with this frog and another frog as an input module, e.g. the frogIn3-AC, outside lighting can be flexibly switched from indoors via 3 inputs (buttons or switches) without additional infrastructure. Supplied with power and connected to the corresponding lamp, a lighting circuit with up to 400 W can be controlled via the 1 output of the frogAct1-0. Any external sensors, such as a motion detector, can be connected to its input (230 V). If the motion detector triggers, all spotlights equipped with frogs are wirelessly switched on for a preselected time. Short flashes from one of the spotlights indicate the area where motion was detected.

The frogs can be controlled with the frogblue HomeApp via smartphone or tablet (iOS and Android), frogDisplay, frogKey or simply via the conventional switch/button connected to a frog. We always recommend buttons, as the full range of functions can be used with individual and different touch patterns, such as double or triple clicks, etc.
